Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join their client's amazing team in California. Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical support to healthcare providers, ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
- Perform vital signs measurements, patient assessments, and document findings accurately.
- Assist with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures as directed by healthcare providers.
- Maintain and organize medical records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Coordinate patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals as needed.
- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring all necessary medical equipment is available and functional.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, standards, and policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide exceptional service.
- Support additional medical and administrative duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical assisting is preferred.
- Previous experience as a medical assistant or in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting patient information and performing clinical tasks.
Work Hours:
Monday - Friday, 1st shift
